1. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said that it foresaw the ongoing difficulty in Nigeria, for this reason, it asked Nigerians not to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari.
Plateau state chairman of the party, Hon. Damishi Sango, said Nigerians have been thrown into suffering, since the A.P.C. led Government came into power.
- Catholic Priest, Rev Ejike Mbaka has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari over the lackadaisical attitude towards the plight of Nigerians since he came on board as the Commander-in-chief. The fiery cleric in a message asked Buhari to prepare his hand over note before the end of 2019, noting that nobody will re-elect him since there was no extra space in mortuaries to keep corpses.
- President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday authorised the appointment of Amb. Olusola Enikanolaiye as a permanent Secretary within the Federal Civil Service.
The Director of communication, office of the Head of Service of the Federation, Alhaji Haruna Yazid, stated that until his appointment, Enikanolaiye was in charge of Nigerian embassy in India.
-The immediate past governor of Benue state, Dr. Gabriel Torwua Suswam, has slammed his successor, Samuel Ortom for running the state down within twelve months of his assumption of office, as governor of the state.
Suswam, who spoke in one of the communities in Benue state, said the worst mistake Benue people made was to opt for a tyrant like Ortom who had no leadership heritage.
- The overall Overseer of the Redeemed Christain Church of God, Enoch Adeboye has warned younger men about getting married to women who can't cook or pray for one hour. Daddy G O, who spoke at the ongoing annual conference of the church, said that before any young guy settles down with a woman, he should understand if the proposed wife can pray and cook very well. His counsel was greeted with mixed emotions as many Nigerians believed he was encouraging ‘intercourse outside the marriage institution.
-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has said a former Coordinating Minister of the economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, begged him not to inform Nigerians that the Nation is broke.
Amaechi, said the country went into recession under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
- The United countries (UN) has raised the alarm over the proliferation of Small weapons and guns (SALW) in Nigeria, with over 350 million of such guns said to be circulating within the Nation.
The Director of United nations regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Africa (UNREC), Ms. Olatokunbo Ige, made this disclosure at the session on physical safety and Stockpile management (PSSM) in Abuja.
