JAMB WITHDRAWS LIST FOR 2016 ADMISSIONS






THE Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has withdrawn the list of successful applicants for admission earlier despatched to the tertiary institutions, the Board stated in an announcement on Sunday.

“that is to make sure that the college Senate perform its statutory obligation of accomplishing the selection of candidates and refer it to JAMB for confirmation in line with the admission criteria of merit, catchment and educationally deprived states as directed via the Minister of training at the coverage committee assembly,” Fabian Benjamin, the enterprise’s head of media, said in a statement.

“the sooner list became despatched, the better to assist in tracking the method of admission so that it will allow different levels of establishments additionally conduct their admission.

“candidates need  not panic due to the fact this is part of the method of the 2016 admission exercise. JAMB regrets any inconvenience this decision would have triggered the tertiary establishments
