An Indonesian circle of relatives got the surprise of their lives, after their husband and father, sixty two-yr-old Waluyo, appeared at their doorstep twelve months after they thought they had buried him. He was said to have lost his life on may also 15, 2015, after supposedly being hit by a vehicle.
The whole thing began last 12 months while Waluyo left home for his routine job as a street cleaner, inside the metropolis of Semarang in an attempt to fend for his family. It wasn’t long after his departure that his spouse, Alim Eskatinah, got a phone call from the police who told her that her husband was involved in a fatal accident which made the hospital to send him to
the emergency room. The family and even some of their neighbours rushed to the hospital to see the extent of the accident, but the guy died a few days later.“ he went into in a coma. Members of his family and neighbours all visited him. He then died on May 7, 2015. Many came to his funeral, all the neighbours came,” Waluyo’s daughter, Anti Ristanti told Indonesian newspaper, Detik.
Then, after some weeks , the supposed dead man returned home. His reappearance was greeted with a mixture of joy and horror.
“Is this real or not? I have to go back to see him, how can a dead man or woman come back to life? I’m shocked,” his spouse, Alim Eskatinah, informed local reporters.
She was so overwhelmed to look at the man they'd buried standing in front of her that she didn’t even believe it was him until she checked some specific areas on his body to see some physical marks on his body.
“He had a scar on his lower back ,” Alim said. “He additionally had a missing enamel.” All of them she checked out, simply to be sure, the circle of relatives asked him to name some of their family members by name.
After passing those tests and listening to their story, the confused guy told them that he had been in Semarang all this time, but because he didn’t have a cellphone he couldn't keep in touch with them. He had no idea his relatives had buried him back home.
Stunned by the news, the police visited the man to ascertain the authenticity of the story, but discovered it is true. The man will have to go through some procedures to return him back as a living person, because he was already counted as dead, and eliminated from the from the country's data base. He has to undergo some procedures to be reintroduced into his country's population data base.
The question now is what went wrong? is it that another person was buried in his stead? Is this another case of mistaken identity?
