ANOTHER CASE OF INCEST

Lately, cases of incest have become very rampant in our society. Incest means having sexual intercurrent with someone you are related to. We hear cases of a brother, sister, mother, father, in law or the likes. The laws of our land are against this, and even the holy bible condemns this act. Some psychologists we interviewed, told us that people who engage in incest, have some kind of mental problems. They also said some  people who do it, do it for ritual purposes. But what do you think is the cause of incest?

An Egor Chief Magistrates' Court in Benin, Edo  State, on Friday sentenced 40-year-old Lucky Idahosa to 14 years detainment for assaulting his 17-year-old girl.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Igho Braimah, imprisoned the denounced after he conceded to the charge.

The convict had in the supplication told the court that he committed the crime.

Braimah said that regardless of what a father feels for his daughter emotionally, he ought not to have given in to commit such a heinous offence.
Thus, she sentenced the man to 14 years imprisonment.
The prosecutor, Mr Osaretin Ogiehon, had told the court that the Man  committed the offence sometime in   June, 2016.

He said that act, which was committed without the assent of the young lady, occurred at their 37, Upper S and T Barracks Street, Off Uselu-Lagos Road, Benin home.

The prosecutor told the court that the offense contradicted area 358 of the Criminal Code.

Driven in proof by the prosecutor, the casualty of the incest had told the court that her dad gave her a mixture, which made her oblivious before he raped her.

She included that her dad cautioned her not to mention the act to anybody.
