A member of the Oyo state House of Assembly, Gideon Aremu, was killed by unidentified shooters at his habitation in Alakia, Egbeda Local government range in Oyo state on July first at around 11pm.
As per family sources, three shooters had trailed the vehicle of the official and followed him to his home where they started shooting at him as he came out from his vehicle. He was hurried to Toun Hospital along Iwo street where he was affirmed dead. Th representative of the Oyo state police commaaffirmed the occurrence and said the police was on the trail of the professional killers.
