FULANI HERDSMEN IN RIVERS STATE




Religious pioneers in Rivers State on Wednesday asserted they have revealed plot by outfitted Fulani herders to dispatch an assault in the state.

Talking in Port Harcourt, the state capital, Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Rev. Isaac Anyanasikike said the herders were at that point scaring land proprietors in some provincial groups of the state and obtaining land for touching.

The pastors from various stages, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Directorate of Religious Freedom and Church Collaboration of Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria affirmed that the herders had attacked a few groups in the state.

Encouraging agriculturist to be vigilante of their neighborhood, Anyanasikike focused on that strain was at that point ascending in groups in the state taking after the nearness of the herders.
